Women’s Ministry

W.I.S.E. – Women Intentionally Serving & Encouraging – is the women’s ministry at Strangers Home Baptist Church.  The ministry is founded on verses from Proverbs 31:20, 26 KJV – “She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.  She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.” Its purpose is to provide a space to learn and share daily application of God’s Word as it relates to every aspect of a woman’s life using Biblically-based materials as well as the Word of God.

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic there were occasional ZOOM fellowship sessions that included guest panelists to keep the women close, as well as spiritually, mentally, and emotionally grounded during a very trying time.  It was not until April 2021 that the ministry was formally established by First Lady Carrie Bennett and is comprised of the women within the church, yet is open to any lady who desires to join in.

Fellowships times are 4th Fridays of every month at 7:00 p.m. via ZOOM:
